As you know, a number of my clients are contracted through me to use your ranking/linking services for their websites. In the many years of working with LinkHelpers, our ranking results have been, in a word, stellar. Then Penguin 2.1 and Hummingbird comes along and a number of my client’s sites took a big hit and were penalized in the rankings severely due to Google’s changes in how they assessed back links and relevance.

It is hard not to sound excited after a phenomenal recovery from Google Penguin. In 2012 our site was getting between 3500 to 4000 unique visitors per day and we were on top of the game. Then Penguin hit and our daily visitors came barreling down to 200 per day, mainly from Bing and Yahoo, but we were nowhere to be found on Google… for 2 years. Our business hit rock bottom. We were devastated, depressed to say the least.

Our case was very unique because other than Google wanting to cash in on revenue generated from increased Adwords sales, there was foul play involved.
